In this painting studio, Little Artists will get a better sense of the most frequently used mediums for manipulating acrylic paint. Paint mediums, can modify acrylic paint properties like thickness, gloss & shine, transparency and texture. Artists will create a realistic portrait of themselves on a wood canvas with crackle, Liquid Gloss medium, iridescent, thickener and sand and bead texture mediums with pallet knives and brushes. We will discuss and plan out how to add these mediums to our portraits to create different effects such as thick 3-D hair or marbled drips of color.
