Fashion Friday

In this two class Fashion Studio Series Little Artists learned basic weaving techniques to make their very own ‘Hipster’ duct tape belt.

First step was to measure their waist. And then choose their ‘style’ from a variety of colors of duct tape, ribbons and fabric.

Each strip of duct tape had to be folded and cut it in half and pinned it into place on our weaving boards.

When all of the strips of duct tape, ribbon and fabric were measured, cut, and pinned down they wove colored twine through, pushing up the rows as they weaved.

When finished Little Artists taped on buckles and finished off the ends.  Now they are going to wanna make em for all their friends!

See You at the Next Studio!
