In this one day studio, Little Artists learned the art of Japanese marbling, called Suminagashi. Each created a colorful marbled paper background and paint a self-portrait of themselves underwater with acrylic paint on a piece of thick clear plastic. These two pieces of art were then put together into an 8 x 10 glass frame. The end result, was a one of a kind painted self portrait, floating in a marbled sea of blues, greens and turquoise!
